Excel - Spiral Pipe inventory reports to track steel coils purchased by the ton to shipped pipe sold by the foot with the appropriate conversion from feet to tons.

Used Excel formulas to automatically generate inventory reports from up to 28 data tables.

Tracked material from the receipt of raw steel to the shipment of finished product.

Accomplishment:

Prepared an inventory snapshot for publication before noon every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to trace steel from raw material to shipped pipe. Helping to reduce waste by about 10%.

Also a comparison of the various defects that caused scrap. Reporting the percentage of each type of defect and doing a month to month comparison.
