Architect & Project/Program Manager
Design
Managed the design, development, management, and rollout of multiple different Prototype Building concepts based on the continued evolution of the banking industry, technology, and customer experience (over 400 of these “prototype” locations constructed).
Implemented numerous “kits-of-parts” (interchangeable building components and furnishings) allowing the flexible expansion or modification of building as required by site and/or program constraints.
Initiated and documented base line compliance standards to meet State requirements for exterior lighting at and around Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Night Depositories.
Worked on the development of an internal Ergonomics Program, to educate and evaluate employees as to the proper configuration of their work environment.
By collaborating and communicating with internal and external vendors I was able to engage un-utilized value add services provided by a current healthcare partner to provide a $1000/employee remediation fund at no additional cost to the bank.
Accountable for the selection of furniture, finish, and equipment standards.
Management
Led a cross functional team of Real-Estate and Construction professionals covering a four state market.
Functioned as the leading role in developing Outsource Playbook, governing the Construction Management services outsourced to CBRE for a 400 branch rollout.
Responsible for over site, of outsourced Construction Management provider(s) in multiple markets.
Collaborated with a cross functional team of internal stake holders to develop a scope of work and initiate a portfolio wide survey to identify and prioritize remediation of ADA Accessibility deficiencies.
Project Management/Construction Management/Process Improvement
Personally managed the construction of over 150 ground-up and inline retail locations.
Implemented two separate project management software systems (Accruent – Expesite and Meridian – Proliance).
Partnered with Technology Firm to develop and launched a vendor registration and project bidding website (www.Bid53.com) allowing vendors to self-register for future bid opportunities.
Established Master Contracts for both Construction and Architectural Services used across an eight state region and three dozen vendors.
Instituted an electronic spreadsheet to speed the calculation of estimated real-estate and construction budgets for funding approval.
Advanced numerous new and/or improved process workflows, increasing the operational efficiency between internal and external business partners and vendors.
Maintained data archives of Architectural and Construction records.
Sourcing
Initiated and negotiated National Account pricing of over fourteen products and/or services that led to an initial +/- $35,000 cost saving per new building (10-15% product line savings).
Communication skills
Effective communicator, capable of managing cross-functional teams, breaking down barriers leading to the successful execution of program and project initiatives.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products as well as Acruent’s Expesite Portfolio/Project Management System, and Proliance’s Meridian Platform.
