Oxygen deprivation of Escherichia Coli and Lactobacillus Plantarum alters protein expression and rates of growth Introduction to Cell and Molecular Biology

Studied bacterial species under low oxygen levels and visualized these through the use of gels and liquid cultures.

Results showed that low oxygen levels lead to a change in protein expression and a slower growth rate for E. coli but does not affect L. plantarum. Spring 2014
