I am working as Drilling fluid engineer (Mud engineer) with Optimum Engineering Standards.Co.Ltd On Saudi Aramco projects, my duties and responsibilities are as under:
Provide technical support to clients and crew members at the wellsite.
Responsible for chemicals sales on rig site and mixing of drilling fluids systems.
Maintain the mud parameters according to the drilling program.
Update well information and reporting to the client.
Estimating mud materials and chemicals required for drilling each phase including estimating the tonnage per material, per well and recommendations and estimates for ordering.
Ensuring that adequate stock of mud chemicals is available on the Rig.
Provide an onsite services such as mud conversion to Mud check and mixing.
Supervised drilling fluids volumes on rig site and vacuums’ movement From/To mud plant.
Provide a comprehensive recap at the end of well.
Experience in drilling oil and gas exploration and development as drilling fluid engineer, in Onshore and Offshore.
Optimized the use of solids control equipment’s systems.
Vertical, horizontal, development, exploration well, work over, multilateral, water injection wells.
Drilling with depth range from 5000 ft. to 18000 ft.
Update the Mud Report based on the mud chemicals received /used, daily.
Complete the Mud Cost Report and the Mud Materials used and transferred.
Ensures that loading / off loading, stocking/ re-stocking mud chemicals at the well site is done properly and carefully.
Assist in ensuring that mud spills are prevented and that all means are implemented to ensure zero mud discharge to the environment.
Perform other related duties such as discussion with company man on the rig site, And Office based drilling fluids personnel.
Check and evaluate solids control equipment at the rig site.
Reporting to the drilling supervisor with the mud parameters.
Supervising and advising drilling crew for daily drilling operations.
Maintain communication with client wellsite representative, rig crew, and field support staff

I worked as Trainee Drilling Fluid Engineer with Oil & Gas Development Company Limited, Pakistan.
My duties and responsibilities are as under:
Follow the operations with the Engineers.
Check inn daily basis the rigs inventory and the required chemicals for rig.
Perform the Engineer’s assessment.
o Perform periodic audit to the rigs (checking the store shape and inventory, the fluids system and products, the lab equipment).
JOB DESCRIPTION
Minimize/ solve the down hole problems such as in flows, Loss of Circulation, Pipe Stuck, Sloughing Shale’s etc. and round the clock struggle to improve efficient drilling operations & Cost effective drilling.
Provided an onsite services under general supervision by testing, measuring and supervising the operation of fluid pumping and mixing, which includes technical analysis in addition to specific product and practical recommendations for the control of fluid properties.
Perform the test {i.e. PPT, HTHP, API fluid loss, Retort, Rheology and many more} on prepared Mud using different tools, kit and methods in lab.
Making WBM, OBM, & Completion fluid as per requirement of operation.
