Objective
Passion. The reason I chose to go into medicine was due to passion. My passion to care for others and to help people improve their quality of life is why I chose medicine as a career. From a young age I have always been fascinated with the human body, how it all works together. This fascination continued through my involvement in sports, my choice to go into sports medicine, and my work as a personal trainer. My decision to then further my education as a Physician Assistant was due to my desire to learn more about these intricacies and to help people at a more involved level. My compassion for people and the human spirit has always been an integral part of my life. I have been privileged to work as a PA and it is always a priority to treat the whole patient. Patients need to feel connected to their provider and be treated as a whole person, not for just the reason they come to the office. Patient’s medical issues affect every area of their lives and this must never be forgotten. It is my goal to find a position as a Physician Assistant so that I may continue to treat patients with compassion, educate them, help them to improve their lives as well as continue the journey of my own medical education.

More About Me
I love the practice of medicine and helping people as already stated, but I would also like to tell you some things about myself that I enjoy outside of my career. Spending time with family and friends is very important to me. I recently remarried and between by husband and I, we have 5 children. We like to spend time together watching movies, cooking, taking weekend trips when the schedule allows, exploring new places together, or simply making a bonfire and enjoying an evening under the stars. Personally, I enjoy working out, spending time outdoors, reading, and learning to ride my new motorcycle. My family and I currently live in Waynesville, MO but we are looking to relocate to the Kansas City area.
