Jan’15 – To date JRB Engineering as CMT Technician/Field Inspector

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reinforcing steel inspections; Bar Grades, types, reinforcing type and dimensions.

Quality control and all works related to the civil construction part of the projects e.g. Residential & commercial construction.

Pre-concrete placement inspections of the Foundations to ensure that it is built as per the design.

Ensure the progress of the construction is as per the approved notes and designs.

Pre-and after concrete placement Post-Tension inspections.

Geotechnical Testing of soil and Lay down Asphalt monitoring.

Jan’13 – Aug’13 Perma-Pipe Middle East as a Project Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Read and interpret piping isometric, piping plan and pipe support drawings for district cooling projects.

Provide on-site support to Project manager and superintendent with site issues and conflicts

Monitor and supervise the contractors during the installation and pipe erection at site and report the progress to management and Manage RFI’s (requests for information) from subcontracts and the client.

Review and comment on constructability of design as required. Conduct value-engineering functions and inspections.

Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences and errors.

Ensure designs meet all safety requirements including process safety, constructability, and maintenance access.

Prepare field design change requisitions and “as built” drawings, as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accountable for administering the projects management activities from the initiation up-till completion of the commercial and industrial HVAC (Packaged, Ducted, Split & Chillers, Cooling Towers) Business involving Roofing, rigging and equipment relocation.

Document Management, Shop Drawings Management and interpretations of the isometrics, electrical and instrument drawings along with submittals management.

Responsible for tracking the site work progress and invoicing as per the work performed by main and sub-contractors.

Customizing design for obtaining maximum technical perfection in line with the discussions with clients.

Submitting the drawings of the actual design for securing approval from the concerned before initiating the work.

Monitoring execution of the HVAC, Chillers (Refrigeration Equipment), Pumping systems, Compressors, Centrifugal pumps, Cooling towers and Oxidizers projects as per the approved drawings & site-conditions, with the help of skilled technicians, to ensure adherence of activities with specified time schedule.

Coordinate material quotes from all Sub-contractors and vendors, and produce subcontract requests.

Interfacing & coordination with clients, Consultants, Main Contractor & Sub-Contractors for successfully completing the projects.
