Job Description and Work Profile :

Testing & Commissioning of Protection Relays like Differential, Distance, Over current and Earth fault, REF Relays of leading manufacturers including SEL, Schneider Electric, Areva, Alstom, ABB, CG, Easun Reyrolle, JVS, Megawin and English Electric etc.

Testing and commissioning of Power Transformer, Current Transformer and Potential Transformer, control & relay panel for Transformer and Line feeders.

Installation, Testing and commissioning of High voltage Transmission Protection up to 220 kV System and conduct routine tests of all relays.

Configuration of Different types of Relays using OMICRON Universal Test kit and corresponding software.

Trouble shooting of Electrical circuits, control and protection circuits.

Perform Power system disturbance analysis and collecting events on the power system to determine their root causes and lesson learned to improve protection equipment performance.
