2006-2012 Plant Manager

2005-2006 Production Manager

Accountable for plant production objectives in Quality, Productivity and Alternative Material consumption. Directly managed 3 salaried employees and 52 hourly employees. Organized training programs to ensure well-trained and motivated employees. Interviewed and hired every hourly production employee and contributed to the interviews of salaried personnel. Conducted inventory counts on raw materials and recorded tooling moves between our 35 manufacturing plants. Reduced production scrap 10% by focusing on tooling change-overs and a preventative maintenance schedule. Line yield was increased from 85% to the mid to high 90%.

Plant produced record pounds in 2005 and 2006 by having well-trained motivated employees.

2004-2005 Yard Manager

Responsible for the organization and maintenance of 30 acres of outside pipe storage. Directly supervised 47 employees over a 3 shift operation which loaded over 100 trucks daily. Performed monthly cycle counts on an average of 9 million pounds of pipe with an accuracy of over 98%. Created the operating budget for the plants 12 forklifts and 3 yard trucks. Our plant had the lowest cost per hour on our forklifts by focusing on an aggressive maintenance and safety program. Scheduled training programs for yard employees and enacted a focus on safety programs which resulted in the yard department going injury free for the first time ever in 2005. We shipped a company-wide record pounds in 2005 and 2006 while remaining one of the leaders in shipping accuracy.
