Objective

Materials and Welding Engineer with * years of experience in Welding Procedures Qualification (WPQ) and fabrication activities for major Oil&Gas contractors - SURF (Subsea-Umbilicals-Risers-Flowlines) & Offshore industry.

Knowledge of all the aspects of pipe-to-pipe and pipe-to-forging welding (manual, mechanized and automatic) for Flowline/Fatigue Sensitive FlowLines (FSFL)/Steel Catenary Risers (SCR). Fabrication and installation (reeling, J-lay, S-lay) for sour and non-sour environments and high-pressure/high-temperature (HPHT) services. Excellent knowledge of welding codes (e.g. API 1104, DNV OS F101), material testing, NDE (Non Destructive Evaluation) and ECA (Engineering Critical Assessment).

Authorized to work in the US as greencard holder.

Welding Engineer / Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Responsibilities and Skills include: providing support as SME to project teams in preparation of welding procedures, qualifications and Non Destructive Testing and Evaluation. Support also offered to projects during spoolbase fabrication and offshore installation. In detail:

•Planning and carrying out welding procedure qualifications in accordance with client specifications and international standards;

•Preparation of welding / NDE procedures, Inspection Testing Plans (ITP), etc;
