In this project we have designed material handling fork lifter used for our college library.

It is used in library for lifting books to put in racks it is mainly operated by chain pully mechanism in this project we have designed and modled the fork lifter in 3D modeling software pro/Engineer.

To verify the strength of the fork lifter analysis is done in ansys.

Conclusion:

We have designed a fork lifter which is capable of with standing high loads

That is used in the libray.
