As a Civil Engineer my interest is in addressing the risks associated with a construction project and managing those risks so a project does not fail before its completion. • Designed solid waste locations and re-planned the solid waste sites at the University of Ottawa campuses

• Lead the team and executed project planning of the three major buildings of the University of Ottawa namely Arts, Tabaret and Fauteux

• Estimated the total solid waste that were generated by these three buildings over the course of 12 months using the spread sheet

• Provided suggestions to the project manager as how University of Ottawa can become a zero-waste campus

• Visually inspected sites too, took photographs of the locations where applicable and prepared a final report

• Verified and analyzed the data collected during the campus survey and uploaded it on the campus website

• Identified all stakeholders in a project and had some constant discussions on the ongoing project activities

• Determined political, social, legal, economic and environmental risks associated with a project

• Captured the lessons learnt from the past projects and utilized them in a new project as a part of a project management activities

• Finished job hazard assessments to recognize any dangers related to the job task and implemented safety mitigation skills to lower site dangers.
