Description:
Mattel’s current e-Commerce, Retail and Analytics systems are outdated and do not address the needs of their Omni-channel, on-demand customers. Consequently, Mattel is unable to capitalize on opportunities that demand highly personalized consumer solutions. Through the Launchpad program, Mattel will implement foundational building blocks to deliver rich, personalized consumer experiences across multiple touch-points, centered on behavior data gathering, deep analytics and actionable insights.
The Launchpad Program consists of two sub-programs.
Commerce: a best-in-class e-Commerce platform to host multiple Mattel store-fronts, beginning with American Girl, Fisher-Price, Barbie Collector, Hot wheels Collector and Thomas Woods.
Content Management: a consistent Content Management Software (CMS) tool to enable businesses to rapidly implement digital experiences across Mattel
Analytics: robust analytics to capture, process, analyze, test, and implement CRM strategies across Phase 1 properties.
Mattel Retail: upgraded systems across American Girl, Fisher-Price and Mattel toy stores, tightly integrated with cross-channel consumer insights.
The full scope of the program includes setting up and integrating a new multi-channel commerce solution, and migrating Mattel’s nearly 150 web properties onto the platform.

Description:
Sears-Kmart E-Commerce Transformation project aims at supporting and maintaining the e-commerce sites run by the client. Multiple sites (sears.com, kmart.com, Kenmore.com, craftsman.com,Insurance B2B.co etc.,) run on the single platform running on IBM’s integrated E-Commerce Platform commercially known as WebSphere Commerce Suite. This is an IBM-developed framework which has in-built B2B and B2C capabilities implemented. Required functionalities are to be implemented by customizing the framework accordingly.
Any enhancements to the sites, new functionalities that are to be implemented and day-to-day support activities are being done as part of the project. Along with this, the project also deals with working on business and technical solutions to enhance the performance of sites.
