Norman is an Associate Director for Professional Services (PS) at Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) responsible for leading the Professional Service practice arm for all Infrastructure Professional Services engagements for North America. Previously he was responsible for both the PS and Consulting services for CTS prior to the split. As an Associate Director, Norman is responsible for developing Infrastructure Services to encompass Business and Technical Consulting for Storage, Network, Disaster Recovery, and Virtualization. Prior to that, Norman served as a Technical Solutions Manager and Senior IT Infrastructure Consultant in the IBM Global Business Services (GBS) organization. As a Senior IT Infrastructure Consultant at IBM, Norman was tasked with engaging with IBM customers to assist with and develop long term strategic IT plans for Data Center Optimization and overall IT Infrastructure Design. Norman has over 20+ years of experience in IT with exposure to all aspects of an IT organization including but not limited to system administration and architecture design on varying platforms and senior management roles with direct report management staff. He has spent the last 10 years specializing as a Senior Consultant for large Enterprise IT Environment design, IT Strategic Planning for Fortune 500 companies, and complex Data Center and IT Infrastructure Architecture. Prior to that, Norman spent over 15 years in roles as IT Manager and Consultant/Advisor for Corporate IT operations.
