Project Description : The project was to optimize the existing OLTP database system and develop a stable and effective data warehouse for managers to evaluate business performance loaded transaction data to warehouse regularly with SSIS, Create Reports for insurance agents on daily basis using SSRS and used SSAS to do multidimensional data analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Used SDLC approach to create multi-dimensional data warehouse which included snowflake schema, data marts, fact tables and dimension tables.

• Designed and developed SSIS packages using various control flow and data flow items to extract, transform and load data from different data sources like Excel, Access, Flat files, and OLE DB source into data warehouse.

• Used many transformations like look up, audit, slowly changing dimension, etc.

• Added measures, calculations, dimensions, attributes relationships to the multidimensional cubes and wrote MDX queries.

• Deployed and supported SSIS packages to production server, and jobs were scheduled run the packages to load data automatically.
