SELECTED PROJECTS
Automation Test Case Online
Web Address: http://nad2dtve08/AutoTest/AutoTest.aspx (ADP internal use)
Project Highlights: This website was created and is maintained by me. The purpose of this website is to keep automation test cases and data sheets online. The latest data sheet, test case, and data sheet are uploaded onto this website.
Purposes: This website is used by our Automation team from India, as well as by the manager and team members. Whenever the data sheet is modified or something new is added, I inform the automation team to get the latest data from the website. For my previous manager, I posted the latest regression test result on the website so that he can quickly and easily get results without the need to go back and find them in his email. Also, I keep both previous results and current results on the website, which allows the manager to compare the two versions. Team members can load and save the data sheet anywhere they want, which is helpful if they are working from home. Most of the time, other people from the outside of TimeSaver can use this site to learn and research the TimeSaver product. I was asked by automation performance team, TLM-Etime team, and users from India for permission to access this site.
Language: The website was written with the .NET Framework and Extensible Markup Language(XML) to store the large amounts of data. The purpose of using XML instead of database is for its simple and very flexible text format. Images are created from Photoshop 7, so no copyright issues exist.
Minimum Wage Structure in the Website
Web Address: http://nad2dtve08/mwage/mwage.aspx
Project Highlights: This website was also created by me. The purpose of this website is for internal research use. TimeSaver is a much more difficult product than others. The major module in TimeSaver is calculation. Sharing my knowledge to the team was my major goal in the past and continues to be for the future.
Purposes: This website allows the user to select different values in the system setup (Same Ratio; Minimum; and AS IS) and to select three different values in Site (Home Site; Site Worked; and Pay Group). The user is able to see how to calculate Minimum Wage when the employee worked from Home Site, Site Worked, and Pay Group after clicking Run Time Card Edit for Employee. Based on the settings in the website, there are 9 different results displayed in the Time Card Edit.
Language: The website was written with the .NET Framework. Data for this website needed hard code because of no data changes and extend need in the future.
University Virtual Office in the Website
Web Address: http://www.rhetcomp.gsu.edu/~bgu/ (still live)
Project Highlights: This website was also created by me. The purpose of this website is for professor keep all causes info together
Purposes: This website allows the user to take the test online and get result by email immediately. New student can register by using SSN last four numbers which SSN stored in mysql database.
Language: The website was written with the PHP Framework.
