JOB PROFILE :

CNC based CAD drawings, Product designing at Stage wise, Weight formation & Mechanical offers, 3D drawing generation at Solid works such as VMC Fixture Drawing, GA drawings, BOM generation, GDT making, Product development drawings, sample fabrication, customer Design follow-ups, Gauge Drawings etc.

Development & Costing of new products and stabilization of process, Active participation in developing Component and product control plans, Cost working and Gauge Plan.

Documentation i.e. PFMEA, PPAP, Control Plan and Work Instruction Sheet of new products.

Follow quality control parameters like PPAP, FMEA, and APQP. ISO 9001 : 2008 & TS 16949:2009 norms etc.

Handling In-house Rejection and customer complaints related to quality using various tools like Histograms, Pareto charts, X-Bar Charts, R-bar Charts, 8D reports etc.

Prepare and update inspection standards and process related to incoming inspection

Inspection carried out as per QAP.

Using Poke yoke methodology to solve problems related to operator faults.

Determining the capability of various processes using SPC techniques (Cp, Cpk analysis)

Performing In-process audits.

Working for achievement of cost saving through Kaizens & Innovations.

Training & Educating workmen for creating awareness for quality, good housekeeping efficient work methods, through Quality Circle.

Responsible for preparing and review production schedules for the products and Material Requirement Planning and Material stock monitoring.

Conducting Internal audits, Verifications of effectiveness of the implemented systems, Raw material planning & packing Material planning.

Supplier monitoring control and supplier Evaluation Technique, Supplier Audit and Effectiveness Monitoring.

Responsible for analyzing the material, equipment and tools requirements according to production plan, Also prepare the purchase order for the equipment and tools.

Responsible for making work flow for each department according to lead time and manufacturing standards.

Responsible for providing the guidance to the production worker for the qualitative performance and also timely check the performance of the workers.

Vendor development, costing & negotiation with suppliers. Development of proto samples and proto fixtures.

Daily production analysis, Daily scrap analysis, to take the corrective action production losses.

Executing and maintaining records (Shop floor Inspection records such as FOI, LOI & IIR and others) and Measuring instruments like Surfcom, Contour.

Projects Undertaken: In house Rejection Control.

TRAINING:

Completed 1 week training on the topic of TS 16949:2009 from Precision Engineering, Chennai.

Completed 1 week training on the topic of supply chain management, Internal and Supplier Audit, MSA, SPC from Precision Engineering, Chennai.
