I worked on the Office Products web site (products.office.com). Site is built Sitemuse CMS and utilizes a Bootstrap like framework called Picchu. Work with Site Managers, Graphic Designers, Program Managers, and Marketing Managers in new builds and site maintenance. Microsoft selected the Office Products site as the foundation in a priority project to bring all MS sites to current Web Accessibility Standards. I was brought in as part of a small group to establish the requirements and methodologies to be used in all future web site development. Worked with Site Managers, Program Managers, testers and fellow team members to determine best possible solutions for our web sites and to future proof the site code. We focused on pages that are both high traffic and provide a wide variety of features and code structures (tab navigation, modals, tables, accordions, etc.) to provide examples for the rest of Microsoft.

Zumiez 03/14 to 05/16

Front End Web Dev / Web Producer

Primary responsibility was working with UX & web site designers to build special promotional pages and update the Zumiez web site.

Work with web designer and marketing teams on new projects to determine project requirements and offer insight to what could and couldn’t be done given those requirements and timelines. Used ‘Evergage’ to make real time updates to the web site and code A/B testing. Work with Photoshop to slice out assets and make adjustments when needed. Follow-up with web design team to ensure changes work for their over all design. Work with other members of the web development team to maintain and clean up old code to optimize site performance.

Built templates for all promotional and informational email in standard and responsive layouts. Worked with email marketing team to teach basic HTML so they could produce daily emails based on my templates and worked with the designers on best practices for slicing images for email. Consult with team members on their projects.

Consultant Web Development / Project Manager

Owner of Alive Worldwide re-launched his company as Revv Worldwide Inc. Rebranded the AliveWorldwide site and materials with assets delivered from external design team and well as assets owner and I sourced.

Collaborated with graphic designers and backend developers to design and build companies main web site. Work with designers photoshop files, I would build the site with HMTL, CSS, jQuery, and javascript and then tie in the server via PHP or ASP. The last version of the main site was built on Drupal. I converted the Drupal site into Wordpress for International regions, each regional manager having the ability to manage their own site.

Wrote web content for all sites as well as promotional materials. Researched product ingredients and worked with the product formulators to build a marketing message on the product and supported that message with detailed information. I also took additional meetings with the owner and with companies legal counsel to craft the company message and the business information. Designed and developed training sites, mini sites and splash pages that focused product and business promotions. Each of these sites were designed for Responsive Design and progressive Graphic design with illustrator, fireworks, and photoshop then developed the sites using HTML, CSS, jQuery and Javascript. Integrated training videos, training documents, audio training, company updates / announcements, and tracking for companies promotions.
