Project manager for migration initiative for Bank of America, which consisted of the migration of over 100,000 virtual and physical servers into a new private cloud environment. Consolidated 61 data centers (brownfield) down to 39 data centers (greenfield), entailing daily meetings with multiple lines of business, technical teams, senior management and vendors. Developed and maintained project plans with MS Project and tracked costs, reporting back to senior management. Provided weekly status reports to all parties.

MFX/ Fairfax Financial Holdings, AVP Infrastructure Services – Data Center Project Manager, Account Manager
MFX Fairfax is a Data Center & Network Solutions Provider that services small, mid-size and large commercial insurance clients.
-Managed two data centers, technical staff of 53 and 6 managers with responsibilities for network, telecom, messaging, security, helpdesk, desktop support, production services, operations and disaster recovery. In addition, project manager for data center initiatives, worked with sales team on all RFP’s for data center insourcing deals and client services for infrastructure clients.
-Managed WAN consolidation for 5 domestic office locations, along with 2 data centers which included upgrade for redundancy and diversity with various network vendors. Negotiated and provisioned all contracts for better capacity/coverage while lowering overall cost by $200k per year.
-Managed overall Unix, Windows, Mainframe, production operations including capacity planning, SANs storage upgrades.
-Introduced tapeless backup solution for 2 data centers using EMC’s Avamar and Data Domain. Cost savings of $500K.
-Managed security team along with external security vendor to evaluate and implement security policies and practices. Managed IT audit review, applied satisfactory resolution of outside auditors.
