Responsibilities: Worked as Senior Developer for number of enhancements for CRS system. This system is built to provide various investment options, which includes Fixed and Variable funds, as well as Life Insurances.

Responsibilities: Worked as Developer and Tester on enhancement and maintenance on many products of Nationwide Insurance.

Achievements:

Closely worked with Software design & development team in US and India to understand functional & internal design of the products.

Did Risk and impact analysis of new features & bug fixes, review and manage code merges

Updated and tested Cobol-IMS programs through screens and validated all the fields on the screen.

System: Primary Rate Interface (PRI)

Description: Primary Rate Interface (PRI) is the Access protocol used between end office switches and PBX or PSTN to end office switches.

Responsibilities: The scope of this project was to provide 24x7 customer support to customers of DMS-100 switches of Nortel. The customer support is extended for European and Asian markets. The protocols supported are ETSI PRI, French PRI, Australian PRI, and Japanese PRI. Support also was provided for all Supplementary services and features on these protocols. Other than 24x7 Support in terms of cell phone support, patch support was provided. The sustenance activity was to provide design support on the International PRI component to all Nortel Labs across the world. This was provided on a per design release basis.

Achievements:

Member of International PRI GPS and Sustenance team for supporting DMS-100 MMP Release 13, 14, 15 and 16.

Solved High Priority Customer Service Requests which required to give a fix(solution) and also a patch in an older release

24x7 GPS Highlight : (i)Feature done in Release 16 for support of Redirecting Information for ETSI PRI.(ii) Fixed a Customer Service request for the Japanese market for ANSI ISUP to Japanese PRI Cause mapping issue.
