Art Department Manager – Working alongside the general and plant manager to ensure the workflow is smooth and the proper channels are being followed. Managing, maintaining, equipment training and troubleshooting the work of five designers in a Mac CMYK environment. Responsible for work delegation, department purchasing, leading meetings, informant to sales managers, monitoring scanning, file trapping, equipment maintenance, film roaming, output and colour management for the Didde web presses, and outsourcing for the new coated envelope printing.
