The primary purpose/objective of the MRPD is to provide Rainbow’s National Research and Rainbow’s Programming /Scheduling Departments for AMC and WE, with improved analytical capability of competitive cable network ratings from Nielsen/Star Media in order to better schedule programming content to achieve improved AMC/WE network ratings. Using comparative analysis, AMC/WE programming departments will be able to identify competitive networks ratings based on analyzing similar dayparts, dates/times, and lead-in programs. Other ratings metrics such as daily/weekly/monthly household ratings averages were also provided.

This system is designed to provide one view of multiple NOVAR System accounts receivable reports, therefore enabling the management of credit on accounts and the collection of cash. The application also serves to increase account executive awareness of outstanding issues with clients that they are in contact with on a daily basis. The application extracts data from multiple html files from NOVAR Aging reports, import aging data in Oracle.
