Electrical Product Design Engineer at Aimtron Corporation, Palatine, IL

As a Product Design Engineering Intern, worked on a project named “Trans-Signal Express” and made a test bench to test an assembled circuit by accessing various test points of a circuit through a 16*16 or a 64*64 matrix and an Arduino Mega. As a Design Engineer Trainee, also gained an experience in designing the matrix using the software “Upverter”. Also, worked on troubleshooting different AC/DC circuits and learnt the whole development and production cycles of the Production Department.

PROJECTS:

• Collaborated in a team of 2 students, designed the schematic of FinFET and after creating the Netlist file, simulated the same using Hspice. And using all the readings of and by comparing all the modes of FinFET, concluded how the FinFETs are better than the MOSFETs. May 2015

• Worked on designing and implementation of a CAD tool for Slack Time Analysis. Wrote functions to calculate the Arrival Time, Required Time and Slack Time in the C program and used Tcl/Tk source code for GUI. April 2015

• Constructed a bowling score keeper by modeling different hardware models and wrote a code in VHDL and simulated using ModelSim software. November 2014

• For Arise Automation Ltd, collaborated in a team of 3 students and constructed an automatic X-Y plotter control system using Siemens S7-200 PLC, which is a cheaper, mobile and a low weight device and can be used in place of CNC machines. February 2014

• Collaborated in a team of 2 students, designed a counter to increment and decrement it by using sensors and displayed it on a 7-segment display using an 8051 microcontroller. March 2013 ACTIVITIES:
