Brief Project Description: Through Enable project, Duke Energy will optimize and standardize the process of the industry in work, resource, asset, and inventory management which will enhance the operational performance for long term growth. Which helps the organization in consistent business process to improve safety, accuracy and efficiency. webMethods is used as a ESB to integrate the various applications of Duke. Interfaces are of synchronous and asynchronous developed by following various models like SOAP webservice, REST webservice, publish-subscribe.

Responsibilities:

●Participated in design meetings with various application systems to understand the requirement of the interface.

●Created detailed design documents with respect to solution provided by webMethods by understanding the interface end to end requirement.

●Created conceptual diagram of the interface using Visio.

●Represented the design documents to client architects for approval.

●Created webservice components using WSDL and canonical documents using XSDs.

●Created JDBC, MQ adapters to make connection with DB and WebSphere MQ.

Responsibilities:

●Analysed the 8.2 webMethods environment and components which requires the upgrade.

●Participated in the technical discussion with Kronos team to discuss about the upgrade planning and strategy.

●Analyzed the deprecated components and its impact in higher version 9.8.

●Worked on redesigning the Crush FTP environment to setup reverse proxy.

●Installed Crush FTP software in test and production environment.

●Worked on resolving the day-to-day issues reported by Apple application teams and partners related to crush ftp.
