Participated as a functional and data subject matter expert in the development of system components. As a team leader, routinely briefed senior military and intelligence community personnel. Developed new cargo analysis products and analytical methodologies, implemented quality standards, and reviewed processes to monitor productivity and customer satisfaction. Managed intelligence production and analysis concerning high interest containerized cargoes.
Intelligence Analyst
U.S. Army - 1995-06 - 2000-06
Served as US Army’s subject matter expert on the Russian Airborne and army Special Operations Forces. Maintained the order-of-battle database on these forces, focusing on organization, strength, location, training, and operations. Led a team of peers in developing the US input to NATO’s intelligence database update on the Russian Ground Forces.
Deployed to Tuzla, Bosnia for six months where he served as day shift leader and technical intelligence analyst for the Compliance Cell of the G-2 Staff, Multinational Division (North), supervising day shift analysts and intelligence production. Reviewed and made recommendations concerning Bosnian military units' training and movement requests in accordance with the Dayton Peace Accords and the Instructions to the Parties. Advised the G-2 and division ACE on issues concerning Bosnian military activities and ground order-of-battle. Stationed in Korea for one year. Provided analytical support to the brigade commander and S-3 on current intelligence issues. Prepared intelligence updates and participated in multiple training exercises by providing current enemy disposition and weather forecasts to the S-3 and coordinating requirements with US Forces J-2. Instituted a new brigade personnel security database that significantly reduced the number of man-hours required to process new personnel.
