College Projects

In my Database Systems class during my graduate classes in Winter 2014, I gathered the requirements from the end user, laid out the designed using Microsoft Visio, and implemented a database using mySQL to manage data of a collection of CD albums, musicians, songs, and companies. I received a grade of A.

For my Information Security Project class in Spring 2015, I conducted researches, designed and implemented a project that is about data needed to be collected and analyzed for various wireless attacks on wireless networks with specific technical identifications (like how to determine the attack in the log) of these attacks. This needed conducting series of attack-detect experiments on real systems, identifying what intrusion detection system should seek. I carried out the attacks and detection using Kali Linux and Wireshark and received a grade of A.

College Projects

Worked together with three other students on a project to develop a tracking system, using Microsoft Visual Basic programming. The system logs employees clocked-in work periods. I was in charge of the design of the business process using Microsoft Visio. The project was ranked the best implemented project of the class.

Developed, with two other students, the prototype of a system that integrated multiple databases such as customer data, data of business representatives, into one all-inclusive system so as make fast data access and efficient retrieval using sequence diagrams for the use cases. The integrated system was to solve all data storing problems. The project received a grade of A and I was in charge of design of the Entity Relationship Diagram, the sequence diagrams and the use cases with the help of Microsoft Visio.

Designed and implemented a database of a restaurant from my Database Systems class using mySQL and Microsoft Visio. The database included the various menus, the orders, and reservations from the customers, and the personnel in the restaurant. Received an A grade for the project.

WORK EXPERIENCE

QC Laboratory Technician, CULP, Stokesdale, NC January 2011 – Present

Perform quality tests on knit and woven mattress fabrics and maintain physical data on production fabrics. Sew samples for tensile, elongation, seam slippage, ball burst strength, snagging, extension, shrinkage, abrasion, pilling tests using different types of machines including Instron machine, James Heal Orbitor, TruBurst.

Perform audits on different machines in different departments.

Enter physical testing data into the Quality database using Windows and AS/400 platforms.
