at City of Cleveland Department of Utilities – VMware engineer and Windows Server engineer responsible for updating VMware ESXi VSphere 6.1 hosts and hardware platforms and advising staff on best practices. Design methodology for upgrading Windows Server OS and migrating department data to updated storage platform through NTFS permissions. Used Powershell and Linux command line scripting for storage and hardware updates(2 Months).
at FlightOptions(remote) – VDI Engineer responsible for creating new XenDesktop 7.5 VDI site deployment. Also generated multi-forest master images for application and desktop delivery with internal load balance configurations through Netscaler v11, and upgraded XenServer to version 6.5. Configure Netscaler for LDAP authentication. Establish desktop access through AD group policies and group memberships. Utilized Powershell for management of desktop delivery and troubleshooting. at Local Insight Yellow Pages - Responsible for Oracle 9i database and Citrix Server Farm relocation for Local Insight Yellow Pages as part of a customized publishing application migration project. This included sizing and specification of HPux database and application hardware, EVA storage, software, and vendor interactions as well as hands-on configurations and disaster recovery plan and configuration. Also built out Citrix XenServer virtual environment for new production application on HP blade servers.
