Reduced telecomm costs by $200,000 per month by eliminating corporate sponsored cellphones, duplicate service, underutilized circuits, and utilizing the Internet for replacement services.

Managed General Contractor duties on building a $750,000 Unix computer room, $150,000 move of an entire floor and $350,000 buildout of a 200 seat/cubical development team work area.

Managed the institution of layer 3 switching (Cisco’s NetFlow Switching technology). Provide high-speed redundant trunks using a combination of Fast EtherChannel and ISL. Replaced the ATM (LANE) trunking with switched fabric (ISL trunking).

Coordinated the design of a branch office-computing standard for all North American sites using Microsoft’s services and security model (DHCP, DNS, WINS, Master Domain Model). Implementation in progress.

Worked with internal teams to dramatically revamp a 1000 node network that had routinely experienced 2 hours of network outages per week. Site included HP-UX servers, RS-6000’s, DEC Servers, UNIX workstations, AS/400's, Windows NT, OS/2, Windows 95 and Windows 3.1. Topology comprised of Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Token-Ring. Protocols include IP, IPX, Appletalk, and LLC2.

Designed, reached approval, implemented, monitored, and adjusted the 50-node frame relay network. Worked with global managers to reach a new IP address structure (class A).

Managed the design and implementation of a ‘Mega Computing Center’ concept that was deployed at 4 global locations.
