Presently installing and terminating cat6 cable at Rex Hospital’s new 8 story Heart and Vascular wing.

Responsible for the installation of AT&T U-verse and DirecTV to the customers’ premises. This entailed making the proper cross connects from AT&T network facilities. This could involve copper services as well as fiber services. Installation of remote gateways, optical network terminal and ancillary equipment to complete the customer’s order. Responsible for testing and implementation of cellular equipment in USPS sites that had cellular coverage issues. Site surveys and coverage area maps were used to determine the cellular coverage in the area and what type of devices were to be deployed. Network extenders and repeaters were tested in house to determine the best coverage that could be accessed using a particular cellular device. A DAS system was deployed at the postal facility located in Potomac, MD. This is a facility that is often used by the Postmaster General. (Bolger Center)

the components were indeed defective. Some of the component’s can be fixed by simply reconfiguring firmware. I also check version levels to insure optimum performance of equipment. This cut down the cost of shipping parts back to Korea that were fixed locally and returned to inventory.

I have been heavily involved with doing blind audits in Sprint’s NC central region. This entails scanning equipment in every cell site and making sure it is in the proper location. Updated ATLAS system (mfieldworks) with information needed to insure correct location of assets.

correct signal levels used in the cable television industry. Also, routinely monitor audio and video signal levels using

Responsible for the installation and commissioning of Microwave hops that make up the backbone of Clearwire’s

4G network. Installed and configured the MW modems with the correct IP addresses and software configurations.

Worked with the tower crews to path the antennas to achieve optimal RSL as mandated by RF Engineering. Worked with Technical Support to find cable issues or connector issues that caused network degradation. Staged equipment in warehouse insuring proper ip addressing and software loads were correct before shipping out to the field.

Responsible for the programming of the test phones used in the live handset test scenarios for Alltel’s

Real Time Billing Systems. I monitor the customer care client platform to ensure the proper amount of funds

are deducted for various rate plans. Assist in writing of test plans. Test the IVR platform. Used GeoProbe monitoring

system to track call flow over SS7 network. Used call traces to find and correct errors on the network. Set up regression testing

to insure fixes worked as expected.

Tekelec

Upgrade Engineer (contract position)

March 2007 – October 2007

Responsible for software upgrades to Tekelec’s customers who owned their Eagle 5000 STP. Remotely

Accessed the customer’s equipment to perform a series of health checks prior to the system upgrade. Any

failing or outdated equipment in the systems were replaced. Executing these procedures helped in ensuring

a successfully upgrade within the customer’s maintenance window.

Alltel Wireless

Provided technical support to Alltel’s IT group. Programmed test handsets with correct information needed

to test billing system scenarios. Downloaded preferred roaming lists to handsets to test designated switches.

Tested real time billing systems and over the air systems using a packet data switching network and Geoprobe.

Cingular Wireless

E911 Coordinator (contract position)

Provided technical support to Cingular’s E911 group in Chicago. Coordinated the collection and formatting of

data used in SCOUT. (section seven data) This information was vital to insure correct location information of mobiles

using the E911 system. Tracked and updated lmu’s with the latest software releases.

Alltel Wireless

Provided technical support to Alltel’s IT test group. Primary responsibility was to ensure test handsets

were functioning properly for RTBS testing. Coordinated the flow of data from Alltel’s test lab to the

system owners involved in the test plan.

Cingular Wireless

Tested, commissioned, and maintained WLS in Cingular’s GSM Raleigh, NC market. Worked with field

Engineers in commissioning lmu’s. Downloaded the latest software releases to the lmu’s. Supervised

the drive testers. Assigned routes to the drive testers to collect data used to assess the status of the net-

work. This data was used to pass FCC requirements for phase 1. Formatted data into files that were

put into SCOUT and downloaded into the WLS. (Wireless Location System)

Verizon Wireless

Worked extensively with Verizon Wireless adding new cell sites to their network. Also added packet

pipes to existing sites. This involved working with the ECP doing cell site translations, and in the 5E building

packet pipe translations for the sites. Made cross connects for cell sites and trunks using the Tellabs 5500

and 532 DACS. Tested with Telco to ensure span integrity before cell turn up. This was a CDMA network.

Lucent Technologies

May 2001 – Nov 2002 Provided technical and maintenance support to Lucent 5ESS customers. Installed

and replaced equipment using Lucent testing and maintenance procedures. Performed software updates

to the switch and cell sites. Tested and connected network facilities using T-Berd test equipment. Made
