Waxer Coater Operator: Set up and operate wax coater mounted in line with a flexographic printing press to coat roll of paper with paraffin wax for use in making food service wrappers. Assist press operator to mount paper roll on machine, blends liquid wax using valves to regulate temperature. Observe mechanical operation indicating gauges, thermometers, steam, and air pressure. Flexo Press Operator: Set up and operates flexographic printing press to print designs or lettering on rolls of paper. Read job orders, mount cylinders on shaft, attaches feed lines to chambered doctor blade system.
