Role/Title: Group Manager.

Oracle/Siebel Self Service (B2C and B2B) eService is a Self Service application part of eCommerce solution, providing superior online customer care experience to serve customers who would otherwise contact customer support representative for support. Oracle eService product is on a SOA platform with comprehensive web service interfaces to allow plug-ins of Knowledge Management, Service/TT/Case Management, Field Services, Asset Management, or other web services so customers can deepen or replace any eService functionality.

Managed development teams both onsite and offshore with team size of 10+.

Involved in all aspects of this release. This includes requirements gathering from product management, provide a detailed schedule, coordinate the design and development with the development team, and monitor the progress of the development.

Worked closely with other teams inside Oracle that integrates with eService product.

Worked closely with Product Managers and QA to make sure quality product is delivered and it is as per requirements.

Role/Title: Senior Development Manager.

Oracle iLearning is an enterprise, multitenant learning management system (LMS) that provides a complete infrastructure for organizations to manage, deliver and track training participation in online or classroom-based environments. Key features include - assemble and deliver learning content rapidly, deliver the optimal blend of classroom and online training, consolidate training initiatives on a scalable, cost effective LMS, measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.

Successfully managed 5 major releases of standalone version of Oracle iLearning and 2 releases of eBusiness (Oracle Apps) versions of learning management system.

Managed development teams both onsite and offshore with team size of 15+.

Involved in all aspects of each release. This includes requirements gathering from product management, provide a detailed schedule, coordinate the design and development with the development team, monitor the progress of the development and provide support through Oracle Support.

Managed hosted version of Oracle iLearning which has more than 100 customers of which Oracle University is the biggest one, having more than half a million users.

Designed and implemented online assessment feature in iLearning, which allows student to take online test and evaluate, has user-friendly interface for course developers to create online tests. Later on the same was implemented in eBusiness product as a standalone module that can be used by other Oracle eBusiness applications. Also implemented various other features including Single Sign-on and Self Registration.

Project Name: Oracle Portal (Dec/98 - May/00)

Oracle Portal provides a complete and integrated framework for developing, deploying, and managing enterprise portals. It enables secure information access, self-service publishing and process automation.

Worked on Site builder module of Oracle Portal

Implemented Oracle interMedia Text search in Oracle Portal.

Designed and developed custom navigation bar.

Project Name: Global Application Integration (Oct/95 - Dec/98)

Global Application Integration team (now IT) provides many custom solutions to various groups inside Oracle. Some of the solutions include World Wide Approvals, Approvals/2000 and Quote Builder. Oracle Sales team used these applications during sales cycle for tracking and approving sales deals. Quote Builder was developed as a simplified interface to Oracle Order Entry Application to enter orders. (Sep. 95 - Apr 96 worked as a contractor in this product for ICIM INTERNATIONAL INC, California)
