**Personal Accomplishments**
Eliminated the overlapping functionality between Shop Floor Control and product line dedicated Stockroom Clerks into a newly created job title that combined their roles into one (Material Flow Specialist).
Directed the transition of warehouse set-up/transfer and inventory integration for all newly acquired businesses. Provided guidance and work related training to Materials personnel.
QIP Team Leader responsible for developing and implementing a Visual /Kan Ban System for the most efficient flow of materials to manufacturing while maintaining inventory integrity. Also assigned as a team member to company’s first organized interdepartmental QIP Team tasked to tackle Production’s biggest issue of identifying the reasons and to eliminate hundreds of identified material shortages.
Co-wrote the detailed procedures and implemented the company wide daily Cycle Count Process. Approval of C/C process by company’s auditing firm also authorized exemption from Year-End Physical Inventories.
As a Safety Team Member, played a major role in creating and maintaining a safe working environment, limiting accidents and personnel injuries as a Safety Team Member.
Maintained a quarterly Inventory accuracy goal of 98% or better driven by an MBO incentive graded via the results from the Daily Cycle Count Process.
