OBI has evolved from personal and commercial lines to a focus on specialty products. I have been involved as a software analyst and developer for the company’s financial and business data capture and reporting applications. Developed all online reporting cubes used by OBI using SSAS. For ten years, responsible for the support of the company’s primary financial reporting tool including coordinating its conversion from SQL Server 7.0 to SQL Server 2008 R2. For the last three years, worked closely with an offshore team of developers to complete a wide variety of development and maintenance tasks.
Main frame experience includes knowledge of Software AG database and use of Natural language. Led the team that designed and coded the company’s Agency Profile System, a data entry repository of detail producer data used by all departments. Natural and Cobol were used for paper and online reporting.
