Operations Manager Supporting all operations of the EEPE lab (Energy Efficiency Pathfinding and Execution) for the DEG (Digital Enterprise Group - Intelpedia) at the Intel Corporation Jones Farm Campus. Responsible for 3 employees working for two different Labs at JF5, supporting 20+ engineers on the latest Intel servers.

Key Tasks:

Responsible for administration and validation of 110+ of Intel’s latest high end servers, including platforms: Romley, Grantley, and the soon to be released Purley supporting a team of 20+ engineers and working with the latest processors including: Intel® Xeon Phi™ Product Family x200 ( max 72 cores - 272 CPUs); Intel® Xeon® CPU E7 processors supporting 10 cores per socket; and Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-4650 v3. Responsible for installation, configuration and validation of Intel datacenter prototype servers using multiple operating systems which include Red Hat, CentOS, SLES, Ubuntu and Windows. Performed stress/workload testing on servers, use back end agents to capture statistics and perform data analysis to calculate impact of stress on servers then establish policies to increase efficiency. Supported PTAS Demo equipment which needed to remain operational at all times. Prototype validation and solution experiments for the Power Thermal and Aware Scheduling project (PTAS).

Successfully moved entire lab from DP1 (Building #1) to DP3 (Building #3) with minimal downtime

Managed PTAS project which involved data center facilities management decisions based on telemetry characteristics: Airflow, Power, Thermal and Compute Load (CUPS)
