I worked closely with the 3rd, 7th, and 20th Special Forces Groups in Afghanistan helping to support Operation Enduring Freedom. I was a Project Manager supervising EXPATS and local nationals on a greenfield project to provide a General Electric Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) system for the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force (CJSOTF) to insure all communication systems stay online in the event of prime power failure. This system required the construction of a new 10,000 square foot concrete building to include power distribution, step-up and step-down transformers, dedicated server circuits, all lighting and general power installation, back-up generator installation, power distribution equipment, control circuits, and associated automatic transfer switches (ATS).

Raytheon, Bechtel, KBR, BE&K Southeastern United States I have traveled to construction sites across the United States. Most of these jobs have included supervising everything from bending conduit, motor feeders, motor controls, PLC installation, high voltage stress cones, switch gear, motor control centers, lighting-power circuits, various instrumentation devices, and troubleshooting of completed systems. These jobs included construction of Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP), Federal Courthouse, nuclear reactor upgrade (Farley), university science lab, lumber mill, and industrial bakery facilities. Florida Coast Paper Co/St Joe Forest Products Port Saint Joseph, Florida I worked in a maintenance environment where I applied troubleshooting techniques on GE steam turbine generators, recovery/power boilers, paper manufacturing systems, and associated equipment. Process control and instrumentation are a big part of paper manufacturing. From chipping logs all the way through shipping rolled paper, automation plays a key role. Foxboro DCS, Provox DCS, and Allen Bradley PLC’s were used to accomplish this level of control.
