JOB DESCRIPTION:

Preparation of KYC, execution of Customer Due Diligence for Corporate and Institutional Clients as on-boarding, periodic/historic reviews on existing clients and trigger events of Standard Chartered Bank.

Preparation of Group Introductory Certificate (GIC), Global Addendum (GA) for the corporate clients to avail products like Buyer’s Credit, External Commercial Borrowing (ECB), OBU Loan disbursement, Financial Market Operations (FMO) to various SCB offshore projects as per the local regulatory requirements and SCB group procedures.

Well versed knowledge in Norkom, Adverse media check, FATCA and CRS, PEP screening and OFAC & HMT’s Sanction screening and UAE black listing as part of the CDD execution.

Assess client documentation, conduct relevant due diligence and reputational risk searches on the client’s, management, ownership structure through a research from the internal and external sources.

Rating the client risk category based on the client business type, ownership, product offering, industry segment.

Responsible to provide the MIS reports which includes the productivity and rework rates of the each individuals in the team to the Senior Management in a weekly and monthly basis.

Trained five team members with respect to KYC policies and process.

Handling six team members and need to assign CDD’s and GIC’s to them. Tracking their productivity and reworks on a daily basis.
