Spins, tubes/aliquot’s, and prepares specimens accurately for Clinical Laboratory and Reference.
Label all tubes accurately using proper patient identification immediately after specimen collection in patient’s presence, and immediately after collection.
Greet patient and assist with sign in, take or search for lab order and enter order into computer.
Answer phone calls as appropriate; fax reports of tests to physicians when necessary; file and copy reports as needed.
Monitor par stock levels and order supplies as necessary; stock supplies.
