I pride myself in my ability to proficiently complete tasks given to me. I have been responsible for and maintained equipment to ensure it is functional. As well as inspecting for safety issues, because safety is key. I can perform general carpentry involving reading blueprints, cutting proper lengths, and in construction for such items as: walls, floors, scaffolds, platforms and concrete forms. I have experience with equipment, vehicle and dwelling electrical wiring and repair. I have experience in the operation and maintenance of diesel and gasoline engine driven equipment such as: trucks, tractors, combines, air compressors, pumps, front end loaders, generators, and other types of equipment. I not only operate but am responsible for the maintenance and repair to both diesel and gasoline engine driven equipment. This involves changing oil, lubrication and repairs such as replacing water pumps, alternators, repairing hydraulic systems and hoses, and other maintenance. I am able to work in high places and in confined areas. I have been thoroughly trained in the proper oxy-fuel cutting process (OFC) and torch adjustments, with emphasis on safety. I am able to produce sound and discontinuity-free welds with the Shield Metal Arc Welding process (SMAW), in the 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G positions. Fully capable of producing quality welds in all positions using Gas Metal Arc Welding process (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding process (GTAW) as well as the ability to produce sound and discontinuity-free welds on pipe using both the SMAW and GTAW processes, in the 2G, 5G, and 6G positions.
