PROFILE

Recent Master degree in Computer Science from Louisiana Tech University and hold Chinese BS degree. Professional experiences under pressure and logical way to solve problem between China and France. I also have ability to build a good teamship.

In Louisiana Tech University, I focus on Data mining, Cloud Computing and AI. I can use RapidMiner, SPSS and MatLab to build different model with Statistic and AI knowledge to do predictive analytics and data analytics. I also have project experience with MySQL, AWS and Linux. Strong SQL and IP knowledge. Python and R is good. GPA is 3.6.

In China, I worked for 7 years. I started my career as a Software Engineer in Alcatel-Lucent and it is a development work. Then I focused on validation in OTUC, OXE and Alcatel-Lucent terminals. I have expert experience in IP, VoIP, SIP, Linux, SQL, PHP, HTML and al kind of switches.

Because of my hard work, I got a chance to France to improve my professional skill and knowledge. Therefore, I have good experience in a multicultural and diverse work force.

My main advantage is communication, adaptability and good self-learning ability. Using work experience to provide more help to the company is my responsibility.

Relationship between Oil Price & Wells in OH & TX

In this project, I use RapidMiner Studio and Excel data to figure out the relationship between oil price and wells by using regression model and decision tree model with 2 states' data (OH&TX from 1984-2009). After using k-fold cross validation and bagging validation to test regression model & decision tree model, I find out the result:

Decision tree model indicates that wells number and oil production will influence the oil price.

Regression model indicates that oil price of a location (TX&OH) will be influenced by local oil production (positive); oil wells number (negative) and gas production (positive).

Advanced Datamining Project

How Education Level, Unemployment and Population influence Poverty in USA

In order to figure out the relationship, we use state and county data about poverty, education, population and unemployment of America In this project. We use supervised Learning and follow KDD process to compare Regression and Decision Tree model via RapidMiner. Then we find out the result.

1.Poverty level is a value determined by people.

2.Population influences poverty in complex ways.

3.Higher Unemployment rate indicates higher poverty level.

4.Lower bounder of education level have more influence on poverty level.

5.Education has long term and short-term influence, but long-term influence has more influence.

6.For more specific classifier in decision tree, location becomes a factor in classification of poverty level.

I am Team Leader. In addition, I focus on Regression model.

Artificial Intelligence Project

Air Quality Prediction Using BPNN

This project is about Artificial Intelligence. In order to predict air quality, I use hourly data of District of Columbia (D.C.) in spring quarter (Feb, Mar, Apr) of 2014, which includes datasets about Criteria Gases, Particulates, Meteorological Condition, Toxic and Precursors. I use same type of data of D.C. but in spring quarter of 2015 to evaluate and test the model we get from 2014's data.

I use Matlab to construct Back Propagation Neural Network (BPNN) model for prediction. In addition, I use two different ways, one way is about using Matlab tools, the other is using Matlab language to code BPNN algorithm. All two ways followed by supervised Learning and KDD process.

My team design a DBMS on AWS (Amazon RDS architecture) and MySQL for company to manage car rental data. For the project, we design ER-Diagram and ensure normalization. Then we create schema and tables on AWS. We also create trigger based on integrity constraints and functionality.
