Summary

I have successfully trained and completed six clinical rotations at various medical facilities in Houston TX. During the course of my two year rotations in the Imaging Program, I have had the opportunity to rotate and gain experience in various internal imaging departments within these hospitals. Performing x-ray imaging in the In-patient/Out-patient Hospital setting as well as various Employee Occupational Health Clinics, Utilizing and improvising my Radiographic Positioning Techniques on all Appointed, In-Patient/ Out-Patient, and EC Triage Patients.

Trained

Currently experienced in High Volume Level 1 Trauma Medical Emergencies, Rendering myself to all levels of Patient Care Services from; Neo Natal, Pediatric to Geriatrics including MICU, SICU, NICU, CCU, Orthopedic Surgery/Special Procedures and EC Triage Trauma. Also recently trained at Houston N.W Medical Center in the O.R. assisting Urologist in several C-Arm cases involving the removal of Kidney Stones (Nephrolithotripsy) and (Cystograpy). As well as minimum experience in Emergency Special Procedure cases (Angio/Vascular) but trainable in specific areas of modalities.

Also have been trained and knowledgeable on a variety of imaging equipment such as; O.R. Surgical C-Arm Equipment (G.E. OEC 9900’s and Siemens), The New Carestream Wireless Portables, Dental Panorex, Siemens, G.E., and Phillips Stationary X-ray Equipment. Knowledgeable of setting Manual Techniques for both CR/DR X-ray Processing within the department. Also Review, Verify and Track Patient’s X-ray Exams by way of Hospital’s PACS /EPIC and Cerna Hospital Networking Systems, Also assisting with Room Preparation, Patient Care, and Sterile Tray Set-Up in Fluoro Suits.
