Location: Hyderabad, India
CMS Releases consist of various new work orders and change requests related to CMS functionalities such as Payment Reversals, Payment Hierarchy, Interest on Current Cycle Transactions, New Interest Disposition Option and various other functions.
Payments made by the customer should be applied for Interest, billed principal and then any outstanding fees as agreed during the contract. If the payment made is more than the outstanding interest, principal and fees, then it should be applied to unbilled principal. As per the payment hierarchy available in Vision Plus, the system does not have a separate bill-not-paid principal and hence any payment applied will first clear the interest and remaining amount is applied to principal. The fees are paid only after the entire principal amount on the loan is cleared. To implement the new logic, a new payment application method, ‘X’ is introduced.
