Neighborhood Redevelopment: Douglas, Chicago, USA (SOM) Aug 2016 – May 2017 Roles: Designer, Architectural Model Maker

Provided strategies and designed a large-scale master plan to redevelop a proposed neighborhood by incorporating the principles of urban and landscape design.

Developed a sectional physical model with an emphasis on Tectonics to demonstrate the relationship between the proposed residential experience and the neighborhood character.

Re-examined the neighborhood framework with axonometric master plan and built the physical site model while maintaining the cultural and aesthetic appeal of the existing urban fabric.

Re-thinking Metropolis: Finkl Town, Chicago, USA Aug 2015 – May 2016 Roles: Conceptual Designer, Architectural Model Maker, 3D Designer Collaborated with team members to investigate the context and the site and provided detailed findings and insights to develop a conceptual framework for the improvement of the site.

Provided conceptual and programmatic ideas and formal strategies through an iterative graphical process to redevelop the neighborhood. Developed a comprehensive urban design solution by building physical site model, building model and detail model. Drafted plans, sections, elevations, perspectives and detail drawings to represent the final design outcome.

Noranda, City of Bayswater, Perth, Australia July 2013 – Nov 2013 Designer (Educational Institute)

Designed a proposed building for the educational institute with an aim to reflect the vision of educational sustainability for the future. Developed detailed drawings for the learning areas and the accommodation spaces for students and staff by incorporating the principles of building typologies such as Linear, Centric, Spine, Serial Progression, Courtyard and Cloister.

Council on Tall Buildings & Urban Habitat, Chicago, USA Jan 2016 – Mar 2017 Intern

Managed the production of publications, newsletters and journals and processed memberships for CTBUH. Planned and executed the logistics for the annual CTBUH conference which was attended by more than 1000 attendees. Designed the posters, catalogue order forms and brochures for various events.
