SUPPLEMENTAL DOCUMENTS
With regards to the supplemental documents, the followings are what I consider to be important for a position such as Senior HIV/AIDS Advisor.
1. The education and other qualifications of the applicant. This gives the employer that the applicant has enough knowledge about the position he or she is applying to
2.Minimum number of years of experience in the field relating to the position. This will enable the employer to know that the applicant knows what it takes to operate in the job.
3.Working experience with the US Government. If the applicant has no experience working for US Government, it does not mean that the applicant has no chance, but prior experience working for US Government is an added advantage.
4.Technical skills enhances the chance of the applicant and it assures the employer that the program will end with success.
5.Management and team work skills. As the advisor of such an important program, his or her dealing with team mates is very crucial. His policy for operating must be inclusive and accommodating.
6.USAID processes, procedures, rules and regulations. The advisor must familiarize self with these USAID factors so the applicant can operate safely and sincerely thereby achieving success.
