Vita Foods Chicago, IL. April 2016 Quality Lab / Documentation Technician. Performed product quality checks for the Vita Foods fish packaging plant in downtown Chicago.
Fauske & Associates Burr Ridge, IL. September 2015 – December 2015 Lab Technician. Performed flammability testing for the Dust Department. Testing was done daily on samples of dust, pharmaceutical chemicals, and various powders for other companies, to assess safety hazards for the workplace. The tests were set up within a 20L blast chamber, which required regular maintenance and cleaning.
Cabot Microelectronics Aurora, IL. May 2015 – June 2015 QA Technician. Performed product testing in the Quality Assurance Lab of Cabot’s Aurora plant site. Testing on polymer pads was done at the end of the factory line, before the product was shipped out.
Intertek Romeoville, IL. August 2014 – March 2015 Chemist. Full-time employee under contract to Aux Sable Liquid Products in Morris, IL. Ran gas chromatography tests, sulfur speciations, and caustic tests within its on-site laboratory, situated within the Morris gas plant. Responsible for daily checking of the contents of the Alliance Pipeline and the Spheres within the facility, as well as other misc. wet chemistry tests.
