Link Engineering Company:

Integrated a new acquisition in to the Link Engineering’s corporate network infrastructure. This included a replacing and vitalizing the active directory, database, and file & print servers and phone system. Integrated site-to-site link with a Sophos RED solution. Resulting in corporate resources being available to remote branch office.

Currently supporting Link Engineering’s test engineers in a test lab environment for two locations in southeast Michigan. These responsibilities include managing the test data, troubleshooting issues with both the PC’s and laptops the engineering staff uses to process data, and the data acquisition devices themselves. Often working the maintenance and service department to diagnose the more complex issues.

Built a direct encrypted site-to-site always up VPN with Cisco security appliance connection to a major automotive company for the secure transfer of test data. Reducing the overall turnaround time from finished test to the report being delivered.

Built and installed HP and Cisco Wi-Fi mesh solutions for mobility within the labs creating a seamless wireless network spanning multiple Wi-Fi access points with no interruption to the users and customers.

Built from source an Asterisk VoIP PBX currently in use at one of the branch facilities, reducing the phone and licensing costs by nearly 85%.
