President 2009 – present
Authored business plan including the Technical Proposal used to obtain initial investors for building a GPS/GNSS RTK network in Western Canada.
Built out the RTK network sites covering much of the Canadian prairies which now has over 100 reference sites.
Did reverse engineering of John Deere GPS receivers and wrote software to allow a non-Deere RTK data to be translated and accepted by the Deere receivers.
Wrote requirements and managed a third-party engineering firm for the development of a cellular modem device to be used on John Deere tractors to access RTK network data.
Wrote requirements and managed the development of several support tools to help with the sales and support of the RTK network.
Performed dealer and customer training for both sales and support of the RTK network and tools we have developed.
Designed and help write new cellular modem software using Lua on Sierra Wireless device.
