Responsible for day to day operations of several production lines making various finished products for alignment systems. Duties range from supervision of production line workers, final product quality of outgoing product, cross training on various jobs, ensuring material levels are adequate to maintain daily production. Coordination of a CNC manufacturing cell along with scheduling for that cell. Also included are continuous improvement activities, daily reporting of production/downtime and quality issues. Account Coordinator-Electrical Components International [2008-2011]
Responsibilities include client order intake, order entry into MRP system, coordinating client shipments between the plant and our warehouse facility and finalizing delivery procedures. Maintain acceptable levels of inventory, setting up contracts in the system to process orders, work with client/plant to develop plans of correction should manufacturer experience delays. Answer all inquires about parts, pricing, availability, revision levels, deliveries and other general issues. Ensure high quality client relations and satisfaction levels; develop process improvements for tracking/record keeping purposes.
Material Supervisor -Daimler Chrysler Corp [2004-2008]
Responsible for supervising the automotive supply chain pertaining to the timely delivery and stocking of various materials and supplies to the production lines to facilitate the assembly of vehicles. Duties have included training and supervising staff, monitoring plant processes, safety compliance for the department and enforcing adherence to plant procedures. Responsibilities have also included equipment maintenance, resolution of quality/damage issues with vendors and verifying inventories of materials in order to maintain stock levels required for production. Responsible for maintaining all related paperwork for OSHA and DOT regulations, all safety documentation, training logs and employee records. Also performed various payroll and administrative duties on a regular basis.
Production Supervisor -Daimler Chrysler Corp [2002-2004]
Responsible for facilitation of several production lines to assemble vehicles. Duties range from supervision of production line workers, training of workers to specific job requirements, tracking of quality, downtime and cost, ordering of supplies and materials for the production line, monitoring of maintenance issues with machinery and tooling, payroll duties and various other paperwork associated with production. Also responsible for employee discipline, safety related items for the production line and resolution of all quality issues.
Plant Manager -CJ Zone Manufacturing Inc. [1995-2002]
Responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing process from receiving and inspection of incoming material to the final inspection process of outgoing product. Duties included scheduling of workers and production processes, deployment of materials and other necessary items for timely completion of customer requirements, tracking of daily production, inventories of all production related items, training of new operators, periodic reviews and discipline of employees. Also responsible for maintaining all related paperwork and processes for QS9000 certification.
