Certain reporting obligations will have to be satisfied once a position limit breach is acknowledged as part of ‘Level 1’ monitoring. The ‘Level 2’ monitoring will enable the user to identify the ‘non-hedge-non-exempt’ positions (positions subject to limit) that will be applied towards the position limits and also provide input to the report (along with other types of positions) being submitted to the CFTC when a breach is identified as part of ‘Level 1’ monitoring. ‘Level 2’ monitoring shall be regarded as the monitoring of position limits for 28 CRFC products.
