2008 – 2016 DFC Global/Dollar Financial Berwyn, PA

Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer Reported to the Chief Financial Officer of a leading international diversified financial services company with revenues approaching $1 billion. Responsible for corporate accounting, consolidation accounting, technical accounting research, external auditor coordination, income tax accounting (domestic and international) and external financial reporting, with a staff of 12. Served as Vice President, Assistant Corporate Controller from 2008 - 2014. Significant accomplishments and responsibilities:

Played an integral role in the Company’s purchase by a leading private equity firm in June 2014. Responsibilities included working with multiple potential acquirers and addressing diligence questions and providing related financial analyses. Key participant in connection with the issuance of $800 million in private placement debt.

Key member of team responsible for the refinancing of the company’s debt through the issuance of $600 million in new senior notes. Responsible for the preparation of related private placement debt Offering Memorandum and the subsequent preparation of Form S-4 to publicly register debt.

Coordinated all accounting related matters for six significant company acquisitions and various smaller acquisitions with aggregate purchase prices of $450 million. Provided support to senior financial staff in areas of external reporting, acquisition accounting, accounting research, year-end audit assistance and documentation of accounting practices and policies. Provided integral support in the completion of accounting and reporting issues associated with the company’s purchase of another large international specialty chemical operation.

Assumed a lead role in the company’s efforts related to various filings with the SEC and coordinated key tax accounting and planning issues.

Led the financial due diligence efforts resulting in acquisition by Decision Servcom (revenues of $200M) of Bell Atlantic's Business Systems Services company (revenues of $550M).

1990 – 1995 Betz Laboratories Trevose, PA

Assistant Vice President, Finance and Administration Reported to President of a wholly owned subsidiary of Betz Laboratories, a $700M manufacturer and distributor of specialty chemicals. Provided financial analyses of operational results, prepared and reviewed budgets, developed sales management/sales compensation guidelines and formulated subsidiary policies and procedures with a worldwide staff of 100.
