Highly-motivated and experienced technology professional with a strong understanding of the software development life cycle, and a thorough knowledge of data analysis methods and techniques. Working with a lighting systems integrator the past four years has given me the opportunity to grow as a professional and experience “hands-on”, practical applications of technology in both corporate and municipal settings.

Professional Experience

Blazen Illuminations, Loveland CO 2012 – Present

Blazen Illuminations provides production support, design, installation, systems integration, and management for all lighting, video, and audio needs.

Senior Technician / Designer / Team Lead

Worked on a wide variety of windows-based lighting design/programming projects for municipal and commercial clients.

Selected Projects:

City and County Building, Denver CO: Project Lead / Show Designer. Led an effort to replace all of the existing lighting fixtures on the building through creation of a detailed lighting design plan and daily work schedules for team members. On a yearly basis, programmed a widely-televised and publicized holiday lighting display to music. Led a four-person team to install and maintain individual display components. Completed installation and take-down processes ahead of schedule, while maintaining show quality and team member safety.

Infinity Park Events Center - Glendale CO: Vista Systems Spyder Certified Technician. Installed Vista Spyder X20 video processor and presentation switcher system with twelve networked Christie Digital projectors. Resolved hardware and software issues, and assisted clients with show production.

United States Custom House, Denver CO – Art Wall Display: Automation Controls Programmer. Designed and implemented the automation controls for a viewer-triggered art display consisting of custom lighting cues and music tracks.

Provided customized services to a wide range of business clients with responsibility for optimizing performance and reducing operating costs, while maintaining compliance with project deliverables, budget and timeframe parameters. Coordinated closely with clients to determine technical and business requirements, identified business opportunities and areas of improvement, planned projects, developed budgets, managed staff, and developed policies and procedures.

Selected Projects:

Accenture Global Knowledge Management Team: Developed and maintained a complex series of Microsoft Excel-based reports detailing the frequency and type of knowledge sharing activities completed by all 250,000 Accenture employees to bestow awards on the most prolific knowledge sharers. Managed a team of offshore resources to ensure Accenture’s knowledge capital was readily accessible by all employees to ensure timely completion of deliverables with a minimum amount of rework.

GE Money Performance Development Engagement: Served as Project Operations Manager responsible for invoicing, financial management and reporting, contract interpretation / management, program management office activities, process improvement / development, and reporting.

Qwest Local Collector’s Dashboard Implementation: Served as WebFOCUS Report Development Team Lead, with responsibility for management of WebFOCUS report development timeline, project status reporting, designing, developing, and testing WebFOCUS reports, and supporting system and user acceptance testing.

Qwest Vendor Owned Inventory Engagement: Worked with Qwest’s Supply Chain and Procurement Operations organizations to create the ability to order vendor-owned materials from Qwest third-party logistics warehouses. Responsible for directing conceptual model development, defining systems requirements, process modeling, coordinating systems development activities, and total cost of ownership model development.

Qwest Wholesale Markets Engagement: Developed complex Microsoft Access database enabling Qwest Wholesale employees to track product offering details as well as the number of units of each product sold.

US West Fourth Platform Engagement: Served as a COBOL designer and developer with primary focus on creating SQL database modification and maintenance programs.
