Axiall Corporation Lake Charles

10/2016 to Present – I am working Axiall Corporation as the inspections planner. My duties are to plan and estimate the cost for internal, external and UT inspections. Primary tools for planning are SAP, Mircosoft, Mieridium and Quick Plan. In my planning I am to plan and create task list, bill of materials, create work orders, take pictures of repairs, mark up P&ID drawings, mark up ISO drawings, build job packages, build spread sheets for reporting cost, man hours and man power needed for completion of job.

In Oct. 2016 I was transferred from Westlake Longview to Axiall Corporation to implement a new planning program for the inspections department.

Westlake Chemical Longview

2012 until 07/2016 - I worked at Westlake Chemical Longview as the capital planner/scheduler/coordinator. My duties as the capital planner is to estimate job costs, plan and schedule, review all blueprints for corrections and coordinate various contractors. SAP and P-6 are my primary tools used for planning capital projects. In SAP I create work orders, purchase requisitions, track labor cost, track material cost, track man hours, order non-stock and stock materials, create service requisitions for outside contractors and create work sheets and job packages. P-6 is my primary planning tool used to plan, schedule, run daily reports, coordinate various contractors and track the job progress.

In Oct. 2012 I was transferred from Citgo Lake Charles to Westlake Longview to organize and improve the efficiency of the capital project planning.

Citgo Refinery Lake Charles

From 2003 until 2012- I worked in Citgo Oil and Gas Refinery-Lake Charles as a maintenance and turnaround planner / superintendent. My duties as the maintenance planner were to plan, schedule, review blueprints and oversee the execution of daily work. SAP was my primary tool used to plan the job steps, order both non-stock and stock materials, create notifications and work orders, plan daily activities, track man hours and close out work orders upon job completion. As maintenance planner, I planned the maintenance backlog work for both the CAT area and TOPPER area. My duties as the turnaround planner were to plan and coordinate various contractors and execute all turnaround activities. P-3 and TIC were my primary planning tools used to plan, schedule and track the job progress. Sub-Shop Coordinator/Expediter which included: coordinating various outside shops for equipment repairs, fabrications, machining, etc. along with coordinating the shipping and receiving of the equipment and materials needed for the task.

Turnaround Superintendent/Maintenance Supervisor which include: managing and overseeing the job scheduled start and completion, review blueprints for corrections as needed, personnel, tools and equipment, materials and overall job safety. Contract Coordinator which included: managing and overseeing various contractors job scheduled start and completion along with overall job safety.

2001 – 2003 Local 79 Boilermaker Union as a structure welder and fitter, also offshore welding on oil rigs and some pipefitting

1996 – 2001 Turner Industries as a boilermaker working exchangers, towers, drums, reactors, heaters, boilers, tanks and pipefitting. Work some as a foreman.

1994 – 1996 Independent welder working for different contractors as structure and plate welder.
